This dream shoot documented english songwriter Nick Mulvey on a stretch of dates for his first Australian tour. Myself and fellow filmmaker Chris Phillips joined Nick on the road capturing a series of live shows and beautiful locations around Byron Bay & Melbourne. “I Don't Want to Go Home” features on his Mercury nominated album “First Mind”.

This music video features footage of my baby sister Emma shot in Tokyo during 2010. In 2023 I heard “Hinoki Wood” by artist Gia Margaret and felt compelled to pair the material.

After working with this fantastic Melbourne band on a Sideshow Alley episode, the same film crew collaborated again on this official music video for their track “The Smoke”. The song features on their Silent City EP.

The concept for this music video came about during an airport transit. Listening to “Postcard” while walking in a confused jet lagged state, the simple pattern of an escalator aligned perfected with the pacing of the song. I later filmed my memory of that experience.

Filmed at Cacophony Recorders, Austin TX during SXSW with Communion artists Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard, Ben Lovett, The Staves & Joey from Bear's Den performing John Martyn's 'Over The Hill’. The song later featured heavily in the opening scene of Austin to Boston.
